By probably spreading a file by mistake, Apple may have revealed the design of the future iPhone 8 and its future infrared camera for facial recognition.
The design and one of the main features of the future iPhone 8, which is due to come out next September, were they revealed by an error? This is what two independent developers have discovered and it was reported by several American media. It all started when the apple brand went online, probably by mistake, a document the firmware [firmware] of HomePod, the future connected speaker Apple.
Several independent developers, including Steven Troughton-Smithand Guilherme Rambo, then threw themselves on the lines of firmware code to explore every detail. On their respective Twitter accounts, the two engineers explain that they have discovered the future design of the iPhone 8 and one of its main features: an infrared camera that would unlock the phone thanks to facial recognition.
